Method and limits
- A tender is counted as open when it is marked active and its closing date has not passed on the snapshot date.
- Countries are the buyer's country. A tender is counted once in its country; in the sector file a tender with several sectors is counted once per sector, so sector counts add up to more than the total.
- Sectors are assigned automatically from the notice text and can be wrong for individual tenders.
- Coverage differs by country and portal. A low count can mean few tenders or a portal we do not collect yet, see coverage.
Frequently asked questions
Can I reuse the data?
Yes, under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence (CC BY 4.0). You may copy, share and build on it, including commercially, as long as you credit TenderG with a link.
Does the data include tender text or official links?
No. The files contain counts only: how many tenders are open per country or sector, and how many portals or countries are behind them. No tender titles, descriptions, buyer details or source links are published.
How often is it updated?
Once a month. Each file carries its snapshot date in every row, and the file name carries the month.
Is this the total number of tenders a country publishes?
No. It is the number of open tenders TenderG collected from the portals it covers. Coverage differs by country, so compare countries with care.
