Construction works for Task No. 2 encompassing Stage II of runway reconstruction over approximately 1800 m with technical infrastructure at Rzeszów-Jasionka Airport (EU project 101079713). The project aims to increase safety of aircraft operations by reconstructing navigational lighting on existing taxiways and improving strength and load-bearing capacity of the existing runway through its reconstruction over 1800 m section (km 0+700 to km 2+500). Scope includes: (a) reconstruction of navigational lighting on existing taxiways including densification of axial luminaires, replacement of halogen lighting with LED lamps, adaptation of existing taxiway for two-way traffic; (b) Stage II runway reconstruction over 1800 m including demolition of existing bituminous surface on runway and shoulders, reconstruction of secondary cable ducting and navigational lighting, construction of new runway surface.
