The town hall of Staden, with integrated service center, is located at the corner of Ieperstraat and Hospitaalstraat. On the same site are buildings of the former municipal school, whose gymnasium and dining hall are still in use today for dance, karate, drawing academy, sports lessons for seniors and other activities. The former classrooms are temporarily used for the summer activities of the youth service. In replacement of these outdated school buildings, the administration wishes to create a new multipurpose space.
