The subject of this tender is the construction of "Optimization and Electrification of the České Velenice (excluding)–Veselí nad Lužnicí (excluding)–Energy Systems" project. The investment project "Optimization and Electrification of the České Velenice (excluding)–Veselí nad Lužnicí (excluding)" aims at complete reconstruction and electrification of the railway section České Velenice–Veselí nad Lužnicí, which will increase line speed and improve rail and road transport safety and minimize operating costs for ŽDC. Another objective of the construction is optimization of infrastructure scope. This includes reconstruction of the superstructure (rails, switches) and railway substructure, culverts and bridges. New platforms 550 mm above track level will be built, as well as overhead contact line (AC 25kV 50 Hz system), low and high voltage power supply, new communications systems (cabling, public address, dispatch systems, etc.) and signaling equipment. The investment project is divided into three separate contracts—Infrastructure, Energy Systems and Signaling Equipment—which form a functional unit.
