Winter maintenance includes snow plowing and removal of packed snow from roads, cycling paths, public areas and city properties, anti-slip treatment, and snow transport where necessary. The winter maintenance sites offered are divided into sub-contracts according to the map material attached. There are seven (7) sub-areas in total. The order/naming of sub-areas differs from numerical order due to the procurement unit's preferred marking method. In addition to the above, snow transport is specified as a separate sub-contract. The bidder may submit an offer for one or more sub-areas. Partial bids on sub-areas are not possible; the bidder must offer both services (plowing and anti-slip treatment) for the sub-area being bid. Sub-contract area 10 differs from other winter maintenance sub-areas in that the contractor winning the tender for this area is simultaneously selected as the primary winter maintenance contractor.
