Procurement of mobile flood barriers. Description (Danish): The Emergency Management Agency ("BRS") wishes, together with the country's 30 municipal emergency services ("the Municipal Emergency Services"), to enter into a framework agreement for the procurement of mobile damming material in the form of free-standing flood barriers. The procurement is primarily intended to support BRS' and the Municipal Emergency Services' acute management of climate events, including when alerting about elevated water levels from hinterland as well as seawater, and when responding to major fires. The mobile damming material shall be used both independently in connection with the management of, among other things, climate events, and as a supplement to BRS' and the Municipal Emergency Services' existing damming material. The material shall be usable in several different operational scenarios. First, it shall be able to be established quickly and flexibly over varying stretches during extraordinary water level rises, including during acute operations in the hinterland, for example at lakes and streams, as well as at coasts and harbours. Second, it shall be able to be used to protect individual objects, such as critical infrastructure. Third, it shall be able to be used as a water reservoir in connection with major fire operations, where water is placed in the reservoir, from which one or more pumps distribute the water to the operational area.
