The scope includes the full removal and replacement of the lift car, associated shaft equipment, and integration with the building's lift controls and life safety systems. Works are to be undertaken in a live, high-security diplomatic building, requiring strict adherence to security protocols, with minimal disruption to operations. The contract requires the provision of a compliant lift installation in accordance with BS EN 81-72:2020, BS 9999, and relevant Building Regulations, including Approved Document B. All works must meet or exceed the performance, safety, and accessibility standards expected for lift installations in a commercial/public building setting.
