Current machines operate using the 3G network and are powered either by mains supply or solar power with battery storage. The Council is seeking a single provider to deliver a complete package covering the supply and installation of new machines, back office analytical support, contactless card payment processing, online payment support and processing, and reporting services, ticket supply, and ongoing repair, maintenance and servicing.
